Banquet 2020 Update
The Governor’s of CT, NY and NJ have decided to follow the guidelines
recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, that
large events and mass gatherings consisting of 50 people or more to be
canceled or postponed for the next 8 weeks.
The Central CT Chapter of SCI has been mandated by Executive Order to
follow this requirement. Therefore, the banquet scheduled for March 27,
2020 has been postponed. A new date will be determined at a later time.
We will do our best to secure a new date for the banquet and will honor
anyone requesting a refund for banquet tickets, raffle tickets, and ads.
You may do so by emailing us at info@centralctsci.org
For those individuals and businesses that placed an ad in the banquet program, the following options are provided:
- Refund the cost of the ad
- Keep the ad for use at a later date
- Place the ad on the chapter website for the remainder of the year in the event the banquet is canceled and use the ad in the program at the next main event.
The online auction is currently accepting bids for items we would have
made available at the banquet. Bids will be accepted from 8:00PM until
10:00PM on the original night of the banquet, March 27th.
