The Central Connecticut Chapter will be hosting a Stop The Bleed training course for our membership on Thursday, June 26, 2025 at the office of US Vascular Management Group (6 Research Drive, Suite 105, Shelton, CT). Stop The Bleed is a training program which focuses on recognition and initial stabilization of individuals suffering life-threatening bleeding incidents. There is no previous medical knowledge required to attend this course, and the lessons taught are applicable to every-day scenarios, as well as accidents encountered in the field.
The training will begin at 6pm. Please RSVP to this email (info@centralctsci.org) by Monday, June 23. This course will be limited to only 20 attendees. We will be limiting enrollment to active SCI members for the next two weeks before we enroll non-members. The cost for this course will be $20 per attendee to help cover the costs of training materials. Pizza and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided to attendees.
